Over in Japan, tv screens will have been seen sporting the new portable version of Phantasy Star Universe entitled Phantasy Star Portable for Sony's PlayStation Portable (I.e. Sony PSP).

The advert shows off the wireless multiplayer and some of the gameplay aspects in typical Japanese marketing fashion!

PSUniverse.net disappeared from the world wide web earlier in the year, however now it is back in it's new domain of psu.ragol.co.uk.

Of course it has been quiet for quite a while on the website even before it went down, so what is to come in the future for the site is uncertain, but in the meanwhile feel free to enjoy the features it has always brought about!

Computer&VideoGames.com & Ragol.co.uk Forumer K_I_R_E_E_K has noticed that SEGA have revealed via the latest issue of Famitsu magazine in Japan that Phantasy Star Universe is to make it's debut on a portable console... Sony's PSP in the near future.

The game will be exactly the same as Phantasy Star Universe (And it's new Expansion Pack - Ambition of Illuminus )currently stands on PC, PlayStation2 & Xbox360, except without the online play. In that's place is wireless 4 player multiplayer, and some more mission bits and story points.

The game however is not being developed by Sonic Team, but instead being produced by that famous Japanese developer 'Alpha System'. Should be good eh?

The game currently titled 'Phantasy Star Portable' (Funnyily enough abbreviated as PSP) should give Universe fanatics something to run to the shops for in 2008!

Apologies for the lack of updates on any part of Ragol.co.uk, PSUniverse.net & the Ragol.co.uk Community Forums. My time has been taken up so much so by university work and outside interferences that absolutely no updates have been made to the site by me in the past few months!

Because of this the website & forums traffic & usage has obviously dwindled in numbers recently. Unfortunately i can't guarantee that the opposite will happen in the coming months, but at least until June you probabily won't see much difference in the website. However, if you're still with us, thanks for sticking it out and i hope you're still either enjoying Phantasy Star Online, Phantasy Star Universe, or discussing it in our forums!

Just a quick word to apologise for the lack of 'The New & Improved Ragol.co.uk & PSUniverse.net' of which was supposed to arrive earlier this past week. As you may have guessed it has been severely delayed due to technical problems and i hope you'll stick it out with me for what's hopefully going to be these coming days and not coming weeks to see some awesome improvements arrive to the websites, forums, and even the different versions of Phantasy Star!

For the meantime though you'll just have to enjoy it as it is, but remember you can always make some meetings between yourselves ingame through our community forums should you be getting a bit tired of having others point and laugh at your lonely 1-man games!

There's a new product on the market that some Guardians might find a little useful when it comes to chatting ingame within Phantasy Star Universe, and it's titled the 'Online Gaming Texter', produced by Blue Orb.

Next week PSUniverse.net and Ragol.co.uk will undergoe some much needed improvements so you'll have you're old website's that you used to love and cuddle before they stopped getting updated back!

What do we mean by this? Well we'll be holding some competitions over both Phantasy Star Online: Blue Burst & Phantasy Star Universe (And possibly even on the Schtack PSO servers for Nintendo Gamecube), as well as improving the websites by adding some extra goodies onto them and hopefully start getting some more regular news updates. And with that in mind if you would like to become a news reported for PSUniverse.net and Ragol.co.uk to report on everything that's going on the in Gurhal system of Phantasy Star Universe then please let us know either by E-Mail or by posting in this Ragol.co.uk forum thread!

White Day Decorations arrive: To celebrate White Day, when in Japan and Korea, Men traditionally give gifts to women ( as valentines is often the other way around, with the women gifting men), the guardians colony has been decorated with many a pretty heart once again! and in addition, the elusive Jaggo amure has also been reported to be wandering moatoob and the sealabs!

Also, a note from me to you all, the site will now continue to be updated with news and items regularly once again, due to certain conditions, its been lacking a little attention, but no more!

The EU & US PSU servers were updated today, bringing with it another slice of PSU fun!

5th Guardians Mission: Head on down to Moatoob with Laia Martinez and Headmaster lucaim Nav, in search of Dr tomrain, will you find him? Or maybe something much more sinister...?

Valentines Day event: On February 14th, the PSU game masters will be on hand as photographers! so grab that someone special and go get yourself a great photo, who knows, you may even end up on the site!

New Photon Arts Delayed: It is also announced that the long awaited Ultimate Photon arts will be delayed until The March 2nd update, on the bright side you can now collect up the last of those PA fragments you need without any worry :)

The next update on the 2nd of March, will feature one Free Mission, Two New Co-Operative Missions similar to Bruce’s Dungeon, the 20 new photon arts, and an Item Exchange mission, more on those as we get closer to the update.
