The 'My Room' feature is a great new addition to the Phantasy Star online series as it allows you to totally customise a part of your gaming experience!

Had a long hard day at the office? Need somewhere to relax but don't have the pounds in real life to buy shiny new items? - Well then relax in your own futuristic apartment!

Your room contains several extra's beside the bed that you can sit down on to relax!

Partner Machinery

This is where your Partner Machinery hibernates while you're off in the middle of the warzones slaying those evil monsters! However, he does have some very cunning abilities that makes him an item you won't want to overlook!

Your Partner Machinery can also be customised starting with a name. Call him whatever you like, it doesn't matter that much, because you can also change it at a later date if you can come up with something amazing at a later date!

When you've finished christening him, all his features open up.

Firstly, your Partner Machinery can hold items and meseta for you should you want to let a load off!

Secondly, his biggest feature is probabily the new Item Synthesis process. This feature lets you create new items/weapons/armor, etc. using the stuff you find on the floor during mission runs! For more information, see the Item Synthesis FAQ.

Thirdly, your Partner Machinery can level up, much like a MAG can in Phantasy Star Online. Feed him items to boost his stats (Strk., Rng., TECH, Armr.) and his Production Level will increase! The higher the level of your Partner Machinery, the better the items your Partner Machinery can create with a much higher success rate percentage of Item Synthesis.

Finally, your Partner Machinery can also Redecorate your room for you! For this to happen, you need to acquire a 'Remodeling Ticket' from the shopping malls. Afterwards, your whole room can change with respect to wallpaper and carpet, and even the kitchen sink!

Vision Phone

Every room also has a 'Vision Phone'.

These are used for several handy functions:

Firstly, you can check for recent news updates posted by SEGA (OR Sonic Team) of the respective domain. This will let you know about what's happening with your favourite & new online game!

Secondly, if you have other players 'Partner Cards', you can go and take a trip to their room and see what they're currently living in! You obviously can't trash the place though for all those revenge seeking fools out there! However, you can decorate their place for them with the simple addition of your furniture!

Thirdly, you can go and search for other players shops! This is done through either highly recommended shops or through shops of those on your Partner Card listings. There you can buy what they're selling for what'll probabily be a at cheaper price than they sell for at retail.

Here you can also check out who's been visiting your room and when aswell as who's rooms you recently checked out (And when)! And finally also take a rain check and revisit all the tutorials for the game should you have one of those impending senior moments.

Common Box

The common box is yet another place where you can store items! However, it's reason for storing items is a bit different from any conventional cupboard or wardrobe. Why? Because this lets you store items so that other characters on your account can equip them!

Dressing Room

Here you can, as the name suggests, change what you're wearing!

Everything you have in your item base can be changed into, whether they're clothes (For Human characters) or parts (For CAST characters).

Decorating Your Room

As earlier stated, you can completely personalise how your room looks! This includes being able to buy new items and place them where you like in your room. Simply walk upto one of the customisable spaces on the floor, and drop your item out of your inventory, and hey presto, shiny new furtniture for you to show off or just look at and be amazed by!

Password Protection

If you don't want any joe bloggs walking into your room, you can set a password at the door so that only those who know the special access code can walk in and have a gander!
